Article I – Services and prices The services provided by SAS .VTC LYON CHAUFFEUR PRIVE as regulated by articles L.231-1 to L.231-4 and R.231-1 to R.231-9 of the tourism code, consist of provision for the benefit of the customer of a vehicle necessarily accompanied by the services of a driver. And included in the service: - The vehicle of the range corresponding to the customer's reservation, - The driver's remuneration, - Passenger insurance, - Fuel, - Kilometers and time included at the time of booking, - Transport of luggage within the vehicle capacity limit, Not included in the service: - Additional waiting costs if the customer is more than 20 minutes late. Price for a sedan €60 per hour and a van €80 per hour (in 30 minute increments). - Additional costs that will not be included in the basic quote - Driver’s catering during a full day service (€20/meal) - Accommodation requiring sleeping outside the home (actual hotel rate)
Article 2 – Reservation Any pre-reservation of a vehicle with driver is mandatory and must be made at least 1 hour in advance via the website or at the last minute by SMS or telephone. Following your reservation, our account manager will call you to check our availability and confirm your reservation.
Article 3 – Prices and Payment Terms The prices indicated on our site are excluding tax, VAT of 10% will be applied and are set by the regulations in force for transport services. The price of the service is payable in cash in euros. If booking a last minute service by telephone, the customer must provide a means of payment (credit card, secure link, bank transfer Any additional services to the contract will be invoiced on the basis of the prices indicated on our site. At the end of the service, an invoice will be sent by email to the customer. In all cases the customer signing the reservation is solely responsible for payment of the service.
Article 4 – Conditions of execution of the service The passage of your reservation and its validation by our services constitutes acceptance of these general conditions of sale and signature of a contract between the two parties. Execution of the contract begins when you are picked up at the previously agreed meeting place. The final withdrawal of the customer terminates the contract. If the customer is late at the meeting point, the price for a sedan €50 per hour and a van €70 per hour (billed in 30-minute increments). If possible, you must notify you of your delay by telephone. If the client is absent from the meeting place, beyond 20 minutes, the service will be permanently lost, with no possibility of postponement and without being able to claim any reimbursement. Special feature for train station and airport pick-up As soon as you arrive, turn on your cell phone. When booking, you are asked to specify an arrival time. If you do not have checked baggage, the 20 minutes of waiting included in the journey is sufficient. However, if you have to collect checked baggage and/or if you come from a non-European destination, the time it takes to exit the plane, collect your baggage and possibly be checked by the Police requires quite a long time. To avoid having to pay for a wait, we advise you to add a delay of 30 minutes. Any damage caused to the interior of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the customer. Under no circumstances will the customer be able to demand that the driver exceed the authorized speed limit or commit traffic violations. In the event of mechanical failure of the vehicle during the journey, VTC LYON CHAUFFEUR PRIVE will make every effort to ensure the continuity of the service by using another vehicle or by any useful means to continue the service.
Article 5 – Cancellation of the reservation Cancellation for transfer or provision Any cancellation by the customer must be notified to us by telephone, whatever the reason, the following amounts will be due as fixed and fixed penalties: - 15 days to 8 days in advance: 50% of the service including tax - 8 days to days of delivery: 100% of the service including taxe
Article 6 – Non-performance of the contract In the event that VTC LYON CHAUFFEUR PRIVE is unable to provide you with the reserved vehicle, we undertake to offer another vehicle of the same range with one of our partners.
Article 7 – Limitation of liability VTC LYON CHAUFFEUR PRIVE disclaims all liability in the event of delay or non-presentation of the vehicle if the origin of the reason is due to a third party or any event which could present a risk for the customer, the driver or the vehicle. By event we mean any circumstances beyond our control such as: road closures, strikes, delay or cancellation of your train or plane, deviation, bad weather conditions, flooded road, traffic jams, attacks, intervention by police, customs or firefighters. , etc… (this list is not exhaustive). In the event of total or partial non-performance of the service, no compensation may be due to the customer.
Article 8 – Competent jurisdiction These general conditions and the contract are written in French. Any natural or legal person using our services and who accepts a quote acknowledges accepting these general conditions of sale without reservation. Any complaints must be made by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt within a maximum of 5 working days after the end of the service to our customer service at the address below:
